Norman isn't the average gnome. He talks and waves! He takes batteries to make his arm wave. But the sayings are motion activated. You walk past the little sensor and he'll say one of his funny sayings.

 -(Fart) Ohhh.. Man. I held that one in for 3 hours waiting for someone to show up.
